Caldarus
Caldarus is an ancient dragon and the mysterious guardian of the Deep Woods, the enchanted forest that borders Mistria. Sealed away long ago, he watches over the town's magic from the shadows. Unlike the other villagers, Caldarus is a special marriage candidate with his own unique romance route.
Unlocking Caldarus
Caldarus cannot be met through ordinary means. To free him you must:
- Descend to floor 60 of the Mines and defeat the guardian waiting there.
- Break the Fire Seal at the bottom of the Mines.
- Learn the Dragon's Breath spell, which clears the thorned barrier blocking the Deep Woods.
- Enter the Deep Woods and speak with Caldarus in his grove.
Heart Events
Caldarus has a full set of heart events, but his route works differently from the standard candidates. His affection is tied to your progress in restoring the town's magic, and his later events are only available in the Deep Woods.
At 6 hearts, his special romance route opens: a unique storyline about what it means to love a dragon bound to an ancient duty, culminating in a one-of-a-kind commitment ceremony.
