Fields of Mistria Museum Donations: Every Set Explained
The Fields of Mistria museum has four wings — Fish, Insects, Flora, and Archaeology — each split into five-item sets. Donate items at the ledge on the museum desk, and completing any set earns you a reward plus a big boost to the town's rank. The game flags new pickups that belong to an unfinished set, so you will not accidentally sell a museum piece.
One warning up front: 100% completion of the Archaeology Wing is currently impossible. The Gems of Mistria and Metals of Mistria sets each include items (such as Perfect Pink Diamond and Perfect Mistril Ore) that are not yet obtainable, presumably arriving with future Mine floors.
Fish Wing
The Fish Wing is built around twelve seasonal sets — River, Pond, and Ocean sets for each of Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter — plus sets fished up inside the Mines. The set name tells you where and when to fish, and only seasonally specific fish count. A few examples of what each set demands:
- Spring River: Bluegill, Carp, Chub, Paddlefish, and Walleye (Walleye needs rain).
- Summer Ocean: Char, Crab, Dart, Grouper, and Stingray.
- Fall Pond: Bluefish (rain), Killifish, Rainbow Trout, Striped Bass, and White Perch.
- Winter Ocean: Horse Mackerel, King Crab (snow), Oarfish, Sand Lance, and Sea Bass.
Mine fish have no season or weather restrictions: the Upper Mines, Tide Caverns, and Deep Earth sets can be finished whenever you can reach those floors. Community wikis also list additional Lava Caves, Deep Woods, and Multi-Season fish sets (to be confirmed in the current build). The final set is the Legendary Fish Set — Cherry, Lightning, Leaf, and Snow Fish — which requires the Legendary fishing perk and one catch per season. See the Legendary Fish guide for locations and weather.
Insects Wing
The Insects Wing has the fewest sets but is arguably the hardest to finish, because several bugs are extremely rare. Seasonal sets (Spring through Winter) are caught all over Mistria with weather and time-of-day conditions — for example, the Luna Moth only appears from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on sunny or windy Spring days, while the Winter set's Crystal Caterpillar needs snow or a blizzard.
Beyond the seasonal sets you will need:
- Grass Insect Set: Grasshopper, Petalhopper, Strawhopper, Leafhopper, and Icehopper, found while cutting grass across the seasons.
- Beach Insect Set: Hermit Crab, Relic Crab, Surf Beetle, Waterbug, and Beach Hopper, all at the beach in any season and weather.
- Rare Insect Set: includes the Lightning Dragonfly (rain, Narrows or Eastern Road) and the Mistmoth (sunny or windy Fall nights).
- Legendary Insect Set: Speedy Snail, Flower Crown Beetle, Strobe Firefly, Fairy Bee, and Snowball Beetle, each locked to a season.
- Mine sets for the Upper Mines, Tide Caverns, and Deep Earth, catchable at any time of year.
Flora Wing
The Flora Wing mixes farmed and foraged goods. Each season has a Crop Set (grown from seeds bought at the General Store), a Flower Set, and a Forage Set. Spring, for example, asks for Cabbage, Cherry, Potato, Strawberry, and Turnip as crops; Daffodil, Dandelion, Lilac, Snowdrop Anemone, and Tulip as flowers; and Fennel, Fiddlehead, Morel Mushroom, Nettle, and Wild Leek as forage.
Three more sets come from the Mines — the Upper Mines, Tide Cavern, and Deep Earth Forage Sets — and are available in any season. If you are missing an out-of-season item, check Balor's Wagon daily, since his rotating stock can include things you cannot currently grow or forage.
Archaeology Wing
Archaeology sets come from dig spots, dive spots, fishing, and the Mines, and several are gated behind skill perks:
- Location dig sets: Prehistoric artifacts at the Beach, Ancient artifacts at the Western Ruins, Alda artifacts at Sweetwater Farm, Caldosian artifacts on the Eastern Road, and Aldarian artifacts in The Narrows.
- Dig Site Material Set: Clay, Peat, Shard Mass, Shards, and Sod from any dig or dive spot.
- Oopart Artifact Set: dig spots anywhere after unlocking the level 30 Archaeology perk Well Placed.
- Aquatic Artifact Set: caught while fishing after the level 1 Fishing perk Aquatic Antiquities.
- Sunken Artifact Set: found in dive spots after the Sunken Secrets perk (one guide lists it under Archaeology, another under Fishing — check your skill trees) (to be confirmed).
- Mine artifact sets: Upper Mines, Tide Cavern, and Deep Earth sets from dig spots on floors 1–20, 21–40, and 41–60 respectively, with extra drops from breaking rocks after the level 15 Archaeology perk Stoneturner.
- Buried Artifact Set: the Stone Horse, Shortcut Scroll, Flint Arrowhead, Diamond-Backed Mirror, and Obsidian Blade from dig spots around Mistria.
- Ritual Artifact Set: five ritual items found in ancient ritual chambers underground after unlocking the Lost to History perk in the Mining skill tree.
- Vintage Farm Tools Set: five old tools found exclusively on your farm after unlocking the tier 4 Archaeology perk Former Farmers.
- Deep Woods and Mist sets: dig spots in the Deep Woods, and Mist Spots that require the Mist Sight skill perk.
- Gems and Metals of Mistria: Perfect ores and gems from each mine region — but two entries are unobtainable for now.
Rare items like Voidite and the Ancient Firefly are also worth holding onto for crafting and gifting rather than selling.
Completion Tips
Check Balor's Wagon daily for out-of-season flora, and work the Mines regularly since nine sets across three wings come from underground. Unlock the gathering perks — Well Placed, Aquatic Antiquities, Sunken Secrets, and Stoneturner — as early as you can, because whole sets stay locked without them. Finally, donate as you go rather than hoarding: every completed set pays out immediately and pushes the town rank up.
